METRO DETROIT — More wintry weather is expected across southeastern Michigan before spring-like temperatures return to the area, according to the National Weather Service.
A rain/snow mix will cross much of the region Wednesday evening and likely continue into Thursday morning, according to the weather service.
The wintry mix will transition into steady rain showers during the afternoon hours Thursday when temperatures reach the low 40s, according to the weather service.

Warmer temperatures will then move into the region beginning Friday and eventually reach 70 degrees next Monday, according to the weather service.
