Rain Before Temps Return To 70s: Metro Detroit Weekend Weather

Widespread rain showers will move into the metro Detroit area before temperatures climb back into the 70s this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expect the rain to develop during the overnight hours Friday and linger into the afternoon hours Saturday. Highs will reach the upper 60s, the weather service said.

High temperatures return to the 70s Sunday and continue through the first half of next week, the weather service said.
