METRO DETROIT — Our roller coaster weather in the Detroit area continues this week.

Monday will be anywhere from 20 to 30 degrees cooler than Sunday, before temperatures jump 20 degrees into the 60s on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Along with the warmer temperatures, winds will reach up to 30 miles per hour and rain will move into the area during the nighttime hours Wednesday, according to the weather service.

The rain will continue into Thursday and linger into the evening hours when it could changeover to light snow as temperatures in the region fall below freezing, according to the weather service.

Highs will return to the 50s on Friday and linger into the weekend, according to the weather service.

Monday: Sunny; High 46, Low 38

Tuesday: Sunny; High 61, Low 51

Wednesday: Rain (late); High 66, Low 40

Thursday (First day of Spring): Rain/Snow; High 47, Low 31
