High temperatures across southeastern Michigan are expected to climb into the 70s this weekend, forecasters said.
SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Thunderstorms are likely Friday and this weekend across southeastern Michigan as temperatures soar into the 70s, according to the National Weather Service.
The thunderstorms will move into the region during the nighttime hours and bleed over into Saturday morning, according to the weather service.
The rain will fade away during the morning hours as temperatures climb toward 70 degrees, but it will return during the nighttime hours, according to the weather service.

Forecasters warned areas southeast of a line from Port Huron to Adrian can see damaging winds reach up to 60 miles per hour, 1 inch hail in diameter and even an isolated tornado.
The storms will move out of the region Sunday morning as a cold front will knock highs back into the 50s, according to the weather service.

Highs will stay in the 50s next Monday for St. Patrick’s Day, but then will jump back into the 60s by midweek, according to the weather service.
