Vice President Kamala Harris Visiting Michigan Monday
Harris is expected to encourage vaccinations during a trip that was rescheduled following flooding late last month.

DETROIT — Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit Michigan on Monday, according to The White House.
Harris is expected to partake in a voting rights listening session at the TCF Center at 2 p.m. Monday in Detroit. Following that event, Harris is scheduled to speak on the region's COVID-19 vaccination rates.
The vice president will appear with Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer later in the day, holding a 5:25 p.m. reelection event for the state's Democratic governor at the TCF Center.

Harris was originally expected to visit the area to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations in late June but postponed the trip when the area was dealing with immense flooding following strong storms and significant rainfall.
