'Well-Known' Albino Deer Shot, Killed In Northern Michigan
Michigan Department of Natural Resources officials said the deer was likely shot with a crossbow from the road.
LANSING, MI — Michigan Department of Natural Resource officials are asking for the public's help after a well-known albino deer was found dead Sunday in northern Michigan.
DNR officers said the deer was shot by a crossbow, likely from the road, between 5-7 a.m. Sunday in Irons, Michigan. The deer was laying at the edge of someone's yard along North Bass Lake Road, just north of 10 1/2 Mile Road.
The DNR has asked anyone with information to call the DNR Report All Poaching Hotline at 1-800-292-7800.
