Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Freezing Drizzle Tuesday

METRO DETROIT , MI — A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect all across Southeastern Michigan as we prepare for freezing drizzle overnight and into Wednesday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, the alert impacts Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Monroe, Lenawee, Livingston, St. Clair, Lapeer, Genesee, Shiawassee, Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola and Sanilac counties from 7 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Metro Detroiters should be aware of hazardous and slick road conditions that will be likely, the National Weather Service said, especially on untreated roadways, bridges, exit ramps and overpasses.

Tuesday afternoon
Cloudy, with a high near 32. Southwest wind around 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Tuesday night
A chance of freezing drizzle after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 28. Southwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday
A chance of freezing drizzle before 8am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly
sunny, with a high near 34. West wind around 10 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Wednesday night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 21. North wind 6 to 8 mph becoming east after midnight.

Thursday
Snow likely after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. Southeast wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday night
Snow likely before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 25. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Friday
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31.

Friday night
Snow likely after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22.
