Farmington Hills PD Hires Two New Officers

Officers Keith Marshall and Nathan Jordan have been hired for the Patrol Division and both officers have experience with the police force.

From Farmington Hills PD: Farmington Hills Police Chief Charles Nebus is pleased to announce the hiring of two new police officers with the Department. The arrival of the new officers was celebrated with family and friends during a swearing in ceremony held January 26, 2017.

Officer Keith Marshall previously served with the Detroit Police Department for 20 years. He has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Schoolcraft College and graduated from the Detroit Police Academy in 1997. During his time with the Detroit Police Department, Officer Marshall worked in the Narcotics Unit, served as a task force member with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and was a detective at the 10 th Precinct.

Officer Nathan Jordan previously served with the Phoenix, Arizona Police Department for 11 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Michigan State University and graduated from the Phoenix Police Academy in 2006. During his time with the Phoenix Police Department, Officer Jordan worked in a variety of precincts and assignments including Central City Precinct, South Mountain Precinct, and Transit Enforcement Unit. He also served as a Field Training Officer and worked in conjunction with several area, state, and Federal task forces. Officer Jordan previously served in the United States Marine Corps for seven years and was deployed to Iraq in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom One. He was honorably discharged in 2006.

Both officers are currently assigned to the Patrol Division of the Operations Bureau as part of the Field Training program.
