Help Governor Warner Mansion with Flea Market Donations

Governor Warner Mansion volunteers are asking for help in gathering gently-used items for the annual Giant Flea Market to be held on Mansion grounds on Saturday, July 20, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

This year, a special area is reserved for jewelry and purses, as well as antiques and antique-like items.

Donations may be dropped off at the Mansion Carriage House during porch parties, June 13 and July 11 (7 p.m.-9 p.m.), Wednesdays, 1 p.m.-5 p.m., July 12, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m., or July 13, 9 a.m. to noon. Forms needed for tax deductions will be available at those times through the newly-formed Friends of the Governor Warner Mansion non-profit organization.

If you are unable to drop off items during those times, call the Farmington city clerk's office, 248-474-5500, ext. 2225.

Vendors are also welcome at the Flea Market. Contact the city clerk's office to reserve a space.

The Warner Tea Room, a new Mansion offering, will be set up on the porch during the Flea Market. Visitors may select from a menu of hot and iced tea, soft drinks, coffee and homemade sweets.

The Governor Warner Mansion is located at 33805 Grand River Avenue in Farmington, just west of Farmington Road.
