Woodward Avenue Candy Shop Estate Sale is This Weekend

Owner Janie DeJaeghere will hold an estate sale at the Woodward Avenue Candy Shop, 23337 Woodward Ave., this weekend as she prepares to move her business to a new location.

DeJaeghere will temporarily work from home and continue to take orders for sweets and baked goods. Customers will be updated on what's next via the Woodward Avenue Candy Shop page on Facebook, she said.

"We are having our liquidation/estate sale this Saturday, May 11th between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Sunday starting at 9:00 AM," she wrote on Facebook. "We anticipate selling out so get here early if you're interested in our antiques, memorabilia, and other store related items."

She said all of the shop's fixtures, including cases and barrels, will be available for purchase.
