August Primary: Wayne County Elections Guide
Several key positions in Wayne County are up for election this year. The first vote is Aug. 7 for primaries. The vote on the final candidates is Nov. 6.
The terms of several Wayne County elected officials will expire this year and in early August voters will be asked to narrow the field in the primary election.
The last day to register to vote in the August primary is July 9. Voters will return to the polls in November to make the final vote.Â

Sheriff:
