Traffic Stops End in Marijuana Arrests; GPS, Airbags and Radio Stolen from Car in Macomb

Traffic stops in Macomb Township end in marijuana possession arrests
On Oct. 2, at approximately 2:37 a.m., Macomb County sheriff's deputies arrested a 23-year-old Clinton Township man for possession of marijuana in the area of Turnberry and Sidney Drive.
In searching the man's vehicle, officers found a freshly smoked joint and additional marijuana in his sports bag, according to the police report.Â

On Oct. 4, at approximately 1:47 a.m., sheriff's deputies arrested a 22-year-old Shelby Township man for possession of marijuana in the area of 24 Mile Road and Storbaelt Lane.

In searching the man's vehicle, officers found marijuana in the center console, according to the police report.
Airbags, GPS and radio stolen from unlocked car
On Oct. 1, at approximately 6:33 a.m., a homeowner in the 16000 block of Durell Road reported to the sheriff's office that someone had stolen the airbags, radio and GPS from a car parked near the home.
The car was unlocked, according to the police report.
There are no suspects at this time.
