Deputy Hits Deer With Patrol Vehicle
The incident occurred on Adams Road early this morning.

An Oakland County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle is already in the shop this morning after the deputy driving the vehicle struck a deer on Adams Road just before 3 a.m., according to a sheriff's office report.
Two deer appeared in the roadway as the deputy was driving northbound on Adams Road, and the deputy was unable to avoid both deer, read the report.
The deer ran off after the impact, though the driver's side headlight was shattered, said Oakland Township Substation Commander Sgt. Tony Spencer. The vehicle should be back in service later today, he added.
