Flower Pots, Pumpkins and Mailboxes Fall Victim to Vandals

The following information was supplied by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Substation in Oakland Township.

Vandals destroyed three mailboxes on East Gunn Road sometime between Sunday evening and Monday morning, according to a report by the .

All three mailboxes appeared to have been damaged by a small passenger vehicle, according to the deputy's observations, and several poles were either "totally damaged or bent." Deputies believe the vehicle responsible will have "a fair amount of damage," the report said.

There are no suspects at this time.

Vandals smash flowerpots with pumpkins

A resident on Addison Circle reported Saturday evening that someone had knocked over two flowerpots and caused damage to the sprinkler system connected to the bottom of the flowerpots, according to a Sheriff's Office report.

The resident also reported finding two pumpkins on the ground near the pedestals on which the flowerpots sat. In the report, the resident said he believed the pumpkins were used to damage the flowerpots.
