'Jellyfish' Earns Patch Fan Some Sweet Swag

Just before noon on Friday, we posted this message on Twitter and Facebook:

The first person to find me at Goodison Good Tyme tomorrow and give the secret password "jellyfish" gets a Patch water bottle and canvas Patch bag! See you there? :)

Loyal Oakland Township Patch reader Ellen Witz quickly commented: "Mine!!!"

And she was right.

Less than five minutes after I arrived at Saturday morning, Witz walked up to me with a smile on her face and simply said, "Jellyfish."

And not five minutes after that, two adorable little girls approached me by the pavilion to give the password (luckily, I brought extra Patch stickers and magnets to share!).

In fact, if I had a quarter for every time someone said, "Oh, I love the Patch!" today, I'd probably have enough to buy myself a venti, soy, one pump sugar-free caramel, no whip espresso Frappuccino lite.

That's a lot of love, people.
