Man Fishing in Gravel Pit Ticketed for Trespassing
The following information was supplied by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Substation in Oakland Township.

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call from a security guard who reported seeing a man fishing on the company's private property near Dequindre and Inwood Saturday morning.
According to the police report, the man's vehicle was parked in front of a "no trespassing" sign while he was fishing in the nearby gravel pit. When deputies confronted the man, he admitted to trespassing and was ticketed.
$300 stolen from parked car
A resident on Creekmonte Drive reported $300 missing from her wallet the evening of Aug. 22. The woman had left the wallet on the passenger's seat of her car, which was parked in her driveway, according to a police report.

The woman found her wallet sitting on a rock in front of a neighbor's house. Her identification and credit cards were still inside, but $300 in cash was taken from the wallet.
