The family-friendly event draws hundreds of locals to Bear Creek Nature Park each year.
was bustling Saturday as children and families perused the family-friendly events at this year's – an annual event sponsored by the Oakland Township Parks and Recreation Department.
"I love how much fun the children have," event organizer and township employee Ellen Witz said. "It's just a very relaxed atmosphere."
"I like coming here and making shirts and getting my face painted," Oakland Township resident Ally Gauss said. Gauss said she and her family attended the event last year, too.

"I've never been to this festival before, but I like to rock climb a lot," Katie Perry, of Oxford, said. "It's just really fun for me."
The free event featured a rock wall, bounce house, archery demonstration booth, t-shirt stenciling, bird-feeder making, music from the Paint Creek Folklore Society, a bake sale through the , historical displays courtesy of the Oakland Township Historical Society, face painting, balloon artists, hot dogs and popcorn.
