2 Children Dead In Canton Township House Fire: Police
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
CANTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Two children are dead and three other people were injured in a house fire that happened Sunday afternoon in Canton Township, according to police.
The fire happened at 5:30 p.m. at a mobile home inside the Glen Ridge Manufactured Home Community located at 5201 Haggerty Road, just south of Michigan Avenue, according to police.

When firefighters arrived at the home, they found two adults and two children outside the home, which was "full engulfed" in flames, according to police.
Firefighters rescued a third child from the burning home, according to police.

All five family members were taken to a nearby hospital, where two of the children died, according to police.
Another child was listed in critical condition, but stable, according to police.
The parents were also listed in stable condition, according to police.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
Officials did not immediately release the ages of the children.
