2 Major Metro Detroit Freeways Closed For Police Investigations: Cops

METRO DETROIT — Two major Metro Detroit freeways are closed Friday morning for separate police investigations, officials said.

Northbound Interstate 275 at 7 Mile Road in Livonia is closed as police investigate a deadly crash, officials said. Pictures posted to social media showed the freeway backed up for miles.

Eastbound Interstate 94 just after 8 Mile Road in St. Clair Shores is also closed Friday morning after police found a woman dead from head trauma on the freeway, Michigan State Police said.
