Another Catalytic Converter Stolen from Car in Plymouth Township Commuter Lot

Police said the theft happened sometime during the day on Aug. 1.

8/1 – LFA Tavistock Cir and E ann Arbor Rd.

An 18-year-old Northville teen reported that the catalytic converter in her Chevrolet Trailblazer had beens stolen while the car was parked in the commuter lot on Tavistock Circle and East Ann Arbor Road, according to a police report.

The theft happened Aug. 1 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The teen told police that she returned with friends, started up her car, which was extremely loud. When she looked under her car, she saw the catalytic converter was cut out, the report said.
