Concours d’Elegance Showcases Classic Cars
Hosted by The Inn at St. John's in Plymouth Township, the show features some of the most renowned classics automobiles of the 20th Century.

PLYMOUTH, MI — The talk around the Motor City this time of year almost always focuses on Oakland County’s Woodward Dream Cruise. But western Wayne County has one of the country’s finest car shows of its own starting Friday — The 39th Annual Concours d’Elegance. Hosted again by The Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth Township, the show features some of the most renowned classics automobiles of the 20th Century, such as the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, the 1931 Cadillac 452A Imperial Limousine and the 1911 Oldsmobile Limited Touring Car.
The three-day Concours d’Elegance is filled with lively events:
- On Friday, the Battle of the Brands runs from 6 - 9 p.m. and the Motor City Mingle - by RM Sotheby’s - to benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation — also runs from 6 p.m. - 12:00 am.
- Saturday includes Cars and Coffee from 7:30 - 11 a.m.; the Gen Viper Seminar - Special Guests: Moderator - Dutch Mandel, Roy Sjoberg, Herb Helbig, John Fernandez, Dick Winkles and Ralph Gilles 10:15 - 11:30 am; the Invitational Art Exhibition 10 am - 4 pm Chef Derik Watson’s Mystery Basket Culinary Competition to benefi Project Beautiful - inside and out 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and much more.
- Sunday is highlighted by the Concours d’Elegance of America 10 am - 4:30 pm Featuring: Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Can Am Cars Shelby Cobra Traditional Concours Classics.

The Concours d’Elegance of America started at Oakland University’s Meadow Brook Hall. In 2011, the event moved to the Inn at St. John’s at 44045 Five Mile in Plymouth Township.
Public parking will be at Plymouth High School, 8400 Beck, and then ride shuttles to the event. To buy tickets or for more information, click here.
