Country Music, Plymouth Wildcats Fundraiser and More This Weekend

Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are five events you should know about in the Plymouth-Canton area.

1. Redford Jewelry & Coin Grand Opening

• When: Friday, Aug. 16, 10 a.m.; 2-6 p.m.
• Where: 15386 N. Haggerty Rd., Plymouth 
• What: Ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Festivities will take place from 2-6 p.m. with food, refreshments and prizes. Register to win an iPad, jewelry, coins and more.
  

2. Music in the Air: Annabelle Road

• When: Friday, 7 p.m.
• Where: Kellogg Park, downtown Plymouth
• What: Listen to Detroit's hottest country. Get to Kellogg Park early to set up your blankets and chairs.

3. Dodge Test Drive for Plymouth Wildcats

• When: Saturday, Aug. 17, 10:30 a.m.
• Where: Canton High School, 8415 N Canton Center Rd. Canton
• What: Come out and test-drive a Dodge Product from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Any licensed driver (age 18 or older) can participate and earn a donation of $20 from Dodge for Plymouth Football or Cheer. The test drives will be held right in the Canton High School parking lot at the turf field. Bring your family and friends and help us raise necessary funds to support the Plymouth Wildcats Football and Cheer.

4. Free Entry to Plymouth Historical Museum

• When: Saturday, Aug. 17, 1-4 p.m.
• Where: Plymouth Historical Museum, 155 S. Main St.
• What: The Plymouth Historical Museum will host an open house on Saturday, where visitors can view the current exhibit at no charge.

5. Children's Garden Montessori Open House

• When: Sunday, Aug. 17, 1 p.m.
• Where: 10980 Ford Rd., Canton
• What: The school has an exclusive program for children ages 3-6. Attend the open house to learn more about the preschool.
