Canton Township welcomes home five-time 2012 Olympic medalist Allison Schmitt on Aug. 14.
Schmitt, a 2008 Canton High School graduate, earned three gold medals, one silver medal and a bronze medal in swimming this year at the Olympic Summer Games in London.
Schmitt, 22, is home for just a few days after the Olympics before heading back to school at the University of Georgia.
