Fast-Casual Mediterranean Restaurant Opening First MI Spot In Metro Detroit

CANTON, MI — Cava, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant, will open its first Michigan location along Ford Road in Canton on Sunday.
Cava is best known for its Mediterranean flavors, including spicy lamb and avocado. The restaurant allows customers to build their own grain bowls, pita sandwiches and salads.
"We’re thrilled to join the Southeast Michigan community and introduce more guests to the bold, vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean," CAVA Regional Leader Gino Carlin said. "Entering the state of Michigan marks our 28th state, and we’re eager to welcome more guests in the Midwest and throughout the country to our table to enjoy our Mediterranean cuisine and hospitality."

Cava is also planning to open a second Michigan location in Detroit sometime this year. With the Canton location, Cava now has locations in 28 states and the District of Columbia.
The Canton location will feature a 3,850-square-foot dining room with digital order pick and delivery options. It will be open daily from 10:45 t0 10 p.m.
