Hanging Power Lines Close M-14 At Beck Rd In Plymouth: Police

PLYMOUTH, MI — Both directions of Michigan 14 between Sheldon and Beck roads were closed Tuesday morning after three electrical poles snapped Monday night, leaving "live wires hanging dangerously low over the freeway," Michigan State Police said.

Westbound drivers can re-enter Michigan 14 at Gotfredson Road. Eastbound drivers can re-enter Michigan 14 at Sheldon Road.

Crews were expected to start working on the down power lines Tuesday morning. No timetable was released for when the freeway might open back up.
