PLYMOUTH-CANTON, MI — Summer is almost over for Plymouth-Canton students. The first day of school in Plymouth-Canton Community Schools District is Tuesday, Sept. 3.

School day start and end times:

Elementary: 8:55 a.m. - 4:01 p.m.

Middle School: 8:15 a.m. - 3:09 p.m.

P-CEP (High School): 7:25 a.m. - 2:21 p.m.

Starkweather: 9 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.

Here are some of the important 2024-25 school year dates to get on the calendar:

Start date: Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Family-teacher conferences: Nov. 13-14

Professional development day, no school: Oct. 9, Nov. 5 and Mar. 5.

Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 5

Thanksgiving break: Nov. 27-29

First semester tests: Jan. 15-17 (9-12)

Winter break: Dec. 23-Jan. 3

Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school: Monday, Jan. 20

Presidents Day: Monday, no school: Feb. 17-21

Spring break: Mar. 24-28

Second semester tests: June 9 (9-12)

Last day: June 9-11
