Popular Fast-Food Chain Opening 3rd Southeast MI Location This Month

ANN ARBOR, MI — A nationwide popular fast-food chain is opening its third Michigan location this month.

Raising Cane's will open a new restaurant at 1116 S University Avenue in Ann Arbor on Sept. 16. The spot is near The Diag at the University of Michigan. The restaurant was initially planned to open in June.

On opening day, customers can enter a drawing, which will award 20 random customers free Cane’s for a year.

Raising Cane's opened its first metro Detroit spot in Canton earlier this year. Other than that one, the only other Raising Cane's restaurant in Michigan is in East Lansing, across Grand River from Michigan State University. It opened in 2022.

Raising Cane's is best-known for their chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw and "Cane's sauce."
