Safe Stolen in Apparent Break-In at Canton Apartment
The following information was provided by the Canton Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

While speaking with management at the complex, Canton Township Police were approached Sept. 24 by a tenant of the Crossings at Canton, 8100 block of Nectar, who told police someone had broken into his apartment unit and had taken his Sentry-brand safe, according to a police report.
The man told police he had his social security card and miscellaneous property inside his safe, the report said.
The man told police he had left his door unlocked when he went to work and when he returned home from work, he noticed the safe was missing from his floor, where he had left it, the report said. The man told police nothing else was missing.
