SB I-275 Ramps To I-94 In Wayne County Will Close In July For 1 Month

Officials said crews will be rebuilding the area where southbound Interstate 275 currently crosses the work zone to exit to Interstate 94.

WAYNE COUNTY, MI — All southbound Interstate 275 ramps to Interstate 94 will close in July for a month as part of the ongoing project on I-275 in Wayne County, state officials said.

The ramps will close starting 5 a.m. July 11 through early August.

Officials said construction crews will be rebuilding the area where southbound Interstate 275 currently crosses the work zone to exit to Interstate 94.

Crews will be improving the drainage in that area on the freeway and re-coating the concrete of the southbound Interstate 275 bridge to eastbound Interstate 94 that was rebuilt last year. There will also be work on the westbound Interstate 94 bridge over the exits.
