Starring Kristoffer Butler as the charming Johnny and Brian George as the ever-defiant, wheelchair-bound Dennis, A Jukebox for the Algonquin is set in a senior living community tucked away in the Adirondacks. But don’t let the tranquil setting fool you — this story is anything but quiet.

This bold and bittersweet comedy follows a group of feisty former city dwellers from Brooklyn and the Bronx who are anything but ready to “go gentle into that good night.” United by friendship, frustration, and a shared thirst for life, they band together to show the world — and themselves — that aging is not a New York State of mind. With themes of resilience, rebellion, and the undeniable power of music, it’s a tale about those who refuse to be forgotten.
