Vandalism Reported at Isbister Elementary

Plymouth Township Police responded Sept. 24 to Isbister Elementary for a report of damage to property, according to a police report.
According to the report, a glass panel on the door to a portable classroom was shattered and a chunk of asphalt was found on the floor of the classroom, the report said. No items inside the classroom were damaged, the report said.
Another classroom window on the northeast corner of the school also sustained damage, the report said, with apparent damage from a chunk of asphalt. According to the report, the glass was chipped and the screen to the window was broken.

Police have no suspects.
Vehicle break-ins reported
Plymouth Township Police met Sept. 25 at the station with a man who reported two vehicle break-ins, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police that between 11 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 25, someone broke into his white 2012 Chevy Silverado and left several items from the center armrest strewn about the passenger seat and the keys to his girlfriend’s black 2008 Chevy Malibu was the only item he noticed missing, the report said.
The man told police the black Malibu also was broken into and that the items in the center console also were thrown around the vehicle and a silver 2-GB iPod was missing, the report said.
The man told police his truck was unlocked, but the Malibu was locked. No damage was reported to either vehicle, the report said.
Police also responded to 10 vehicle break-ins during the same time period at Southworth Avenue and Gold Arbor Road.
