Tucked away from the busy Ford Road and Michigan Avenue corridors in Canton is Cherry Hill Village, a downtown-like district that has seen its share of development woes, despite its vibrant community of vintage-style homes and theater district.  One of the cornerstones of the still-underdeveloped district was Cherry Martini, an upscale bar that now sits vacant.  The stalled development of Cherry Hill Village is starting to turn the page with independent businesses opening doors in the area's retail district.
