Worker Electrocuted In Plymouth

A worker inside a Cherry Street business was electrocuted while working on a heating/cooling unit.

PLYMOUTH, MI — A 54-year-old man was recently hurt while working on a platform inside a Cherry Street business. Fire officials said the man was electrocuted while working on a heating and air conditioning unit at the business in the 1000 block of Cherry on Wednesday. He was later taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Livonia for treatment.

"He was conscious and breathing, but still needed medical attention," Fire Chief Steve Ott said.
“Plymouth city police and the Northville City Fire Department's Plymouth station also assisted in the rescue.”
