5 Larcenies That Happened In Royal Oak This Week

ROYAL OAK, MI — During the week of July 25 through Aug. 1, at least five larcenies were reported in the city of Royal Oak and three were bicycles that were stolen.

Tools were reported stolen from a the LA Fitness construction site along Woodward Avenue. It happened July 25.

A woman's gun was stolen from her apartment on Woodland Avenue sometime between July 25-28, according to reports.

Three bikes were stolen during this time period: a Schwinn from outside Blick Art Materials on July 30, a Schwinn from an apartment storage unit on Parmeter Boulevard, and a Trek 21-speed from the CVS bike rack on July 30.

During the week, some 37 arrests were made. Reports show that the public piano in the 400 block of Washington Avenue was also damaged.
