ROYAL OAK, MI — An unknown suspect is on the loose after hurling a brick through an apartment window in the middle of the night, according to the Royal Oak police report. The incident happened in the 4000 block of W. Thirteen Mile Rd. on Dec. 27 at 2:54 a.m.

29488 Woodward Ave. (UPS Store), 12-26-16 – 12-27-16, 5:00 p.m. – 7:45 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered the lobby area of the business and forced a security gate open to access the sales registers and stole cash.
3500 block of Elmhurst, 12-24-16 – 12-28-16, 5:00 p.m. – 5:56 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke into the residence by forcing open the side door. The resident stated nothing appeared to have been taken.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle
2800 block of Rochester Rd. 12-19-16 – 12-22-16, 8:00 a.m. – 2:12 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole the month tab from the vehicle’s license plate.
Larceny
1200 block of Montrose, 12-27-16, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a FedEx package from the front porch.
Malicious Destruction of Property
3601 W. Thirteen Mile Rd. (Beaumont Hospital), 12-22-16, 6:40 p.m. – 9:10 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) smashed the rear window of her parked vehicle.
600 block of W. Houstonia Ave., 12-26-16 – 12-27-26, 2:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) damaged the driver’s side exterior mirror of his parked vehicle.
