Gun Stolen From Fern Street Homeowner's Car

ROYAL OAK, MI — The Royal Oak Police Department made 33 arrests between July 13-20. According to police reports, five people were arrested for disorderly conduct during the period while three more were picked up for driving with a suspended license. Here’s a rundown of recent reports from Royal Oak Police:

Larceny from Motor Vehicle

• 1800 block of Fern St., 7-15-17 – 7-16-17, 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2007 Honda and stole a firearm from the glove compartment.
• 200 block of Marlin Ave., 7-16-17 – 7-17-17, 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2006 Buick and stole loose change and a utility tool.

Larceny

• 2560 Crooks Rd. (Planet Fitness), 7-14-17, 6:36 p.m. – 7:10 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) had taken his car keys from a locker inside the gym. Complainant reported the suspect(s) then entered his vehicle and stole a wallet containing cash and credit cards.

Malicious Destruction of Property

• 300 block of Marlin Ave., 7-15-16 – 7-16-17, 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) spray painted graffiti in multiple locations on the street in front of his residence.
• 30000 block of Woodward Ave., 7-19-17, 7:45 p.m. – 10:35 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) broke the rear passenger side window of her 2001 Toyota.
