Royal Oak Police Bust 9 For Disorderly Conduct

Over the past week, Royal Oak police officers have arrested nine people for disorderly conduct — by far the most in any criminal category.

ROYAL OAK, MI — If you’re going to come into town and cause problems, you may find yourself arrested. That seems to be the message Royal Oak police are sending these days. In the past week, the department made nine arrests for disorderly conduct.

It was far and away the largest single category in which arrests were made between July 20-27. Four people were also arrested for probation violations and three for driving with a suspended license. Here’s a closer look at criminal incidents in Royal Oak over the past week:

Larceny from Motor Vehicle

  • 3601 W. Thirteen Mile Rd., (Beaumont Hospital), 7-20-17, 7:10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole all four rims and tires off of her parked 2015 Jeep.
  • 200 block of LaSalle Ave., 6-23-17 – 7-1-17, 11:59 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) damaged and attempted to steal the catalytic converter from her 2005 Subaru.
  • 1016 W. Eleven Mile Road (YMCA), 7-25-17, 9:15 a.m. – 10:37 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke out the passenger side window of her parked Hyundai and stole two (2) purses.

Larceny

  • 4000 W. Fourteen Mile Rd., 6-23-17, 2:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a package from the front porch of her residence.
  • 2000 block of Parmenter Blvd., 7-8-17 – 7-23-17, 6:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a Trek bicycle from her apartment common area.

  • 3000 block of Marais Ave., 7-20-17 – 7-21-17, 10:30 p.m. – 10:30 a.m. Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke the driver’s rear window of his 2005 GMC.
  • W. Sixth St & S. Center St., 7-21-17 – 7-22-17, 9:30 p.m. – 2:45 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke the driver’s rear window of his parked 2016 GMC.
  • 300 N. Main St. (Emagine Theater), 7-24-17, 8:00 p.m. – 10:26 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) damaged three tires of her parked 2016 Chevrolet.
