5 Things You Should Know This Week in Saline

- The Saline City Council will hold a work session at 6 p.m. followed by a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at the Saline Municipal Building.
- The Farmers Market will be open from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the parking lot of the Saline District Library and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 14, a half block south of Michigan Avenue on South Ann Arbor Street.
- The Friends of the Saline District Library will hold its monthly "Bag Sale" in the library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.
- Detroit Symphony Orchestra flutist Sharon Sparrow will coach an interactive flute session from 12:30-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at 47 Gunther Cardens Ct., Saline.
- Saline Parks & Recreation will host the 20th annual Punt, Pass and Kick competition at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at Saline High School.
