Alicia Ping to Talk About Hoekstra Advertisment on Fox 2 Thursday

Ping will appear on Let It Rip, hosted by Huel Perkins.

Saline resident and Washtenaw County Commissioner Alicia Ping, who received when she criticized an advertisement by fellow Republican and U.S. Senate candidate Pete Hoekstra, will appear on Fox 2's Let It Rip, hosted by Huel Perkins, at 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Ping is expected to talk about the controversial advertisement, featured an Asian actress speaking in broken English. Ping has called the advertisement demeaning and said that because of it, she'd changed her mind about supporting Hoekstra's campaign and would endorse his Republican primary challenger, Clark Durant.

Ping was chair of the Dick Devos gubernatorial campaign in Washtenaw County in 2006. Ping has also appeared on WJR AM 760 to talk about the issue.
