The Friends of the Saline District Library are hosting a "Bag Sale" in the library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale takes place in the Brecon Room. Patrons can fill a bag of books for $5 and get a second bag at no cost.

According to a note from the Friends of the Saline District Library, there are a couple of items that may be of interest:
• We received a collection of top-of-the-line wine books that are currently offered in the book shop, in the cookbooks section.

• Harvard Classics, the 1909 Collier edition, 45 volumes of the 50 volume set, in very nice condition. Missing volumes are 4, 15, 23, 30, and 33.
