Learn to Compost and More at the Saline Library

Here are four events happening this week at the Saline District Library:

1. What's in Season, Saline: Backyard Composting: Tue, August 13, 6:30pm – 7:30pm.

2. Caldecott Club Book Discussion: Wed, August 14, 2:00pm – 2:45pm. Registration required. Entering Kindergarten and First Grade in the Fall. Our newest book club! Listen to several Caldecott Award winning picture books, talk about the art and the words, and then VOTE for the Caldecott Club winner!

3. Magic Joe: Wed, August 14, 6:30pm – 7:15pm. No registration. All ages. One of our favorite magicians brings his magic to the Saline District Library as we say farewell to summer!

4. Pageturners Book Discussion: Thu, August 15, 2:00pm – 2:45pm. Registration required. Graduates of grades 4-7. Sign up and get a reading copy of our book, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, starting July 14. Then bring the book and join us for talk and treats!
