Police Report: Mother Requests Removal of Guns From Home After Teen Sons Fight
The following reports are Saline Police Department records filed between Feb. 20-27. Arrests do not imply conviction.

At the request of a Whitlock Street mother, removed six long guns from a home after responding to a reported physical altercation between teenage brothers.
On Feb. 22, an argument between the brothers became physical. When the altercation ended, one of the brothers came back into a room with a gun stored in the house, owned by an 18-year-old man.
Police responded to the scene and interviewed the brothers before contacting their mother, who was not home at the time of the altercation. She was told of the events and she requested the guns be removed from the home, according to the report.

Man Arrested for Drunk Driving

A 22-year-old Willis man was arrested for operating under the influence Feb. 26.
At about 7:30 p.m., police received a call from a citizen who said possibly drunk driver had nearly rear-ended his wife’s vehicle. Minutes later the caller phone police to say that the driver u-turned on Maple road and went over the curb.
Police located the vehicle and began following, turning on emergency flashers when the vehicle made an aggressive turn into a driveway on southbound Industrial Drive. The driver did not stop, according to police, continuing into the parking lot, pulling into a parking space and striking a curb before coming to a rest.
A preliminary breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol content of .16, twice the legal limit of .08. The driver was arrested for operating while impaired. He was held at the Saline Police Department until his blood alcohol content was below the legal limit.
Charges are pending the results of the chemical blood test.
Adrian Man Arrrested on Felony Warrant
Saline Police arrested a 34-year-old Adrian man wanted on a felony warrant.
Police stopped a vehicle with tinted windows on Michigan Avenue near River Oaks Boulevard. While running a background check, police learned the driver was wanted on an Adrian warrant for aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon. Saline police transported the man to Clinton Police Department where he was turned over to Adrian Police.
Ann Arbor Woman Drives with Revoke License
A 20-year-old Ann Arbor woman was arrested Feb. 25 by Saline Police for driving with a suspended license.
The woman was stopped for speeding on northbound Industrial drive near Barnes Court. She was clocked at 57 miles-per-hour in a 35 miles-per-hour zone, according to police. Her vehicle was impounded by America One.
Macomb Man Stopped with Suspended License
A 27-year-old Macomb man was arrested for driving with a revoked license Feb. 27.
At 11 a.m., Saline Police stopped a vehicle for failing to yield at a stop sign at Old Creek and Pleasant Ridge Drive.
The driver was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license and his vehicle was towed by America One.
