Robison Goes Deep at State Bowling Finals.
Robison made it to the championship semifinal before losing to the eventual state champ.

The only bowler to beat Saline High School senior Neeko Robison Saturday is the state champ.
Robison made it all the way to semifinal match at Saturday’s MHSAA Division 1 singles bowling championship.
Robison entered the singles finals as the fourth place finisher from his region. In the qualifying block, Robison finished 12th with a score of 1,194. His best score game in the sixth and final game, when he bowled a 244.

In the round of 16, Robison defeated Southgate Anderson’s Devon Puckett, 425-389. Picket had placed fifth in the qualifying block. In the quarterfinals, Robison edged Bay City Central’s Jonathon Niemic, 367-352. Robison rebounded from a 160 in the first game and bowled a 207 to win the second game.
In the semifinals, Robison fell to Davison’s Tylor Greene, 460-392. Greene went on to win the state championship.

Coach John McMullen said Robison had a great day.
“I am very proud of Neeko and the whole program this year,” McMullen said.
