Robison, Ohl Bowling in Battle Creek
Two Saline High School bowlers have qualified for the state meet.
Two Saline High School bowlers are readying for this weekend’s state finals. Neeko Robison and Sydney Ohl each took fourth place in their regional to qualify the finals, which take place at M-66 bowl in Battle Creek Friday and Saturday
Neeko Robison qualified for the state finals at the Region 6 meet held at Skore Lanes in Taylor. Robison placed fourth with a score of 1,251. Robison started slow, with games of 192, 198 and 172. He turned up the heat in his final three games to make the top 10, bowling games of 238, 217, 214 and 237. There were 10 qualifiers from the region.
Brandon Martin was 35th with a total score of 1,074. Chris Graber was 38th with a score of 1,064, one better than Jacob Cornish, who was 39th. Brittain Drake was 44th in 1,028. Cal Mayer scored an 882.

As a team, the Hornets finished ninth with a total score of 3,762. They needed to finish in the top three to qualify.
On the girl’s side, Ohl placed fourth with a score of 1,137 and was just 49 points away from winning her regional.

Ohl bowled games of 193, 190, 214, 188, 181 and 173.
Emily DeCook was 18th with a score of 959, about 100 from qualifying from the state meet. Hannah Owen finished with a 780 to take 44th in the region.
Saline’s girls just missed going to the state meet as a team. They finished with a score of 3,386, 70 points behind Monroe, who took the region’s third and final qualifying position.
