Maura McCann Is Saline's Youth of the Year

The Saline Youth Council has named Maura McCann as Saline's Youth of the Year. The other nominees were Julia Hogikyan and Hayley Byrnes. McCann will be recognized April 13 at the Saline Salutes banquet along with the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year, Lifetime Achievement honoree and the George A. Anderson Vision awardee.

Riverside Grill Closes, Gabriel's Cheese Steak Hogies Opens

on the west end has closed its doors. Ray Gammo is owner of Alpha Wirelss. His brother managed the Riverside Grill. Gammo said business was slow and never picked up. Meanwhile, on the east side, opens today at 10 a.m. in The Oaks Plaza.
