Dogs Now Have a "Barks 'n Recreation" Department in Shelby

Dog owners who are concerned about Fido being home alone during the day have a new doggie day camp option in Shelby Township.

Andrea Kirchoff recently opened Barks 'n Recreation doggie daycare next door to the Kuts 'n Kisses grooming salon in a vacant storefront next door at 46500 Van Dyke. Kirchoff, who is a groomer at Kuts 'n Kisses, responded to the growing customer base, and the need for the service, by opening the doggie day care.

Hourly and daily rates are available for the daycare, which offers a cage- and kennel-free experience for dogs.
