In Photos: Beautiful Michigan Summer Night Capped off with Al Fresco Movie
Shelby Township and Utica residents enjoyed the beautiful summer night Monday with a band and a movie in the Park.
People came out in droves to hear a live band and watch a movie under the stars Monday night at , but the real show-stopper was the beautiful weather and the romantic sunset.
The summer night started off with a soft-rock band, The George Brothers. While residents listened to the free concert, they cruised the sponsor tents, such as the Detroit Zoo and Chrysler tents. Also in attendance was a Fiat 500 for the car lovers.
It pays to come to Park It, said Carl Gianotti, owner of Park It, as he read off raffle prizes such as gift certificates to Lucido's Fine Jeweler.

Kids had a blast with the giant bounce house, shaved ices and a tattoo artist. Once the natural light dimmed, Despicable Me, an animated film, entertained the kids for the rest of the evening.
The evening was put on by Park It Family Fun Nights. The organization has partnered with more than 25 metro Detroit communities, and brings the event to town free of charge to the city and the residents.
