Let It Rip: 3-Story Water Slide Opens at Stony Creek
Stony Creek Metropark is the first park in Michigan to get the Rip Slide, a 3-story inflatable water slide.

One of the world’s largest inflatable water slides opens Friday at Eastwood Beach in .
The Rip Slide is 175 feet long, 47 feet wide, about three stories tall and can be used wet or dry.
Tickets to ride the slide are $1 per ride, $7 per hour or $20 per day.

The slide is open noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday, weather and wind conditions permitting.
A vehicle-entry permit is required to enter Stony Creek.  An annual permit costs $25, $15 for seniors. In addition, $5 daily passes are available.  For more information on Stony visit www.metroparks.com or call 800-47-PARKS.   Â
