Macomb Daily: Dress-Wearing Robber Hits Shelby Township Bank

A man disguised as a woman robbed a Shelby Township bank Monday afternoon, according to The Macomb Daily.

A man disguised as a woman and wearing a “Mexican fiesta dress” robbed the Monday afternoon, according to The Macomb Daily.

The paper reported the man allegedly took $2,500 in cash, which he stuffed into a purse when he fled the bank on Van Dyke Avenue, north of 22 Mile Road.

Witnesses told police the man was black, about 6 feet 1 inches tall, and weighed about 250 pounds, according to The Macomb Daily.

He was also described as wearing a black wig, large sunglasses, white gloves and the colorful dress.
