Police Blotter: Bike Stolen; Catalytic Converter Sawed off Vehicle
Shelby Police are investigating several thefts in the township in the past week ranging from iPads to catalytic converters.

Bike Stolen
A BMX bicycle was stolen from a home on 23 Mile Road sometime between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The man who filed the complaint said his son had left the bike leaning against a wall before it was stolen. The bike is described as white and neon green.
Catalytic Converter Stolen
A catalytic converter was stolen from a Pontiac parked on Mound Road last Thursday.

Police said the converter had been cut off clean with a saw. Police said a converter was stolen from another Pontiac a few days earlier that parked at Barnes and Noble.
SUV Broken Into
Thieves broke into a 2012 Dodge vehicle parked on Tuscany Grove overnight Sunday and stole a backpack that contained an iPad3, JVC Video Camera, DVD and several T-shirts.

The victim told police he had left the keys in the vehicle overnight.
